  • dartswim1

The first Wild Dart swim, is a 3km swim for swimmers of all persuasions and sizes, which takes place on August 22, starting at the Dart-Totnes Rowing Club on Steamer Quay and finishing at Sharpham’s North Quay.

Coming during regatta week, we to make it a celebration of the Dart, as well as wild swimming in general and so we’ll be keeping our numbers down to 250 to maximise your enjoyment of the lovely River Dart.

Swimmers will be set off in waves for safety reasons and while this is not a competitive swim, for those of you who are of competitive bent, there is the facility for receiving a time through our Raceplitter technology.

Breakfast baps will be served at Sharpham cafe and transport back to the rowing club will be provided by shuttle bus.

All finishers will receive a Wild Dart Swim swimming cap and wooden medal.
