Whether you’re a seasoned competitor or just want to swim for fun you’ll get an equally warm welcome at our Rutland Water “Big Charity Swim”.
A perfect place for the competitive swimmer to round off the season with a PB in this sheltered creek on an accurately measured course! Equally, if you’re new to open water swimming and want the challenge of completing an Open Water event this year, our unrivalled safety and friendly venue make this the perfect opportunity.
Cost: £20 of which £5 will be donated to the Partner Charity of your choice at Registration. Includes all-day car parking and race timing. Anglian Water will be awarding a Perpetual Trophy and BlueSeventy sponsoring an exciting prize for the best Charity swim ‘story’.
Entry: Ability to swim at least 500m confidently. Minimum age 15 with parental consent. Wetsuits will be mandatory below 14C for all distances up to 1.5K, and below 15C for 3K. Multi-activity wetsuits available to hire separately and collected on the day for £5.
Start Time: 9am. 500m, 1K, 1.5K and 3K distances.
