This is a quiet stretch of the Thames between Lechlade and Radcot.
Drive down to Grafton Lock (Go down Prior’s Walk, off Lechdale Lane), or park along the lane and walk down to the lock.
With the lock to your right walk up stream, with the lockhouse on your right, through a small gate and them along the river until you find a good spot to get in/out.
The current can be quite fast after a lot of rain, but only occasionally.
