Glenelg waterfall

Chanced upon this dramatic waterfall tucked away in the glen after viewing the brochs at Dun Troddan in Gleann Beag. There is a shallow river to cross ( well, shallow in July) and a small field before edging your way up to the left of the falls where the pool at the base is large enough for a dip. It’s an idyllic spot, even on a slightly grey drizzly day. I parked by the gate on the lane opposite the falls, about 2 Km up the glen from Eilanreach, just after Glenelg. A surprising find and one we couldn’t resist!
