Beautiful swimming spot on the Thames. The water is clean and fresh right by a grassy bank
large river island, has a few cool little beaches ideal fro swimming or just chilling by the
Huge sandy lake with small buoyed-off swimming area shelving to 1.5m deep and 50m wide. Forest

Had lovely family day there today (A lovely sunny Sunday). Water cold, and swimming not encouraged, but for paddling with kids glorious. 4 families there in morning, went back in afternoon and was busier but not awful at all, with a good crowd scattered round the cricket. Pub not that great, sadly.
Lovely area, beautiful village green etc. Council have recently erected a rather large ‘no swimming’ sign so this combined with a strong current on the day we went meant we didnt swim there on this occasion! However, water is clear and bottom looked relatively even.
