Can anyone advise, am looking to do Pen-doll Rocks very soon and looking at street view, the place where it shows as the location off the A470, it all appears to be fenced and not necessarily anywhere to park (well, without blocking the A470 a bit that is!!)??? Can anyone give any more detail on the exact point where you can gain access to the site from the A470?? Thank you.

Clear water that shelves off rather quick. Water flows well into shallow rapid areas. I personally would not advise it for young children or weak swimmers. I swam this in August 2013 and it proved a nice area for a picnic and relaxing afternoon. I did not swim out of my depth as a local informed me of a few deeper pot holes in the river that could prove challenging with under tow. Overall great spot, with clear water, but just be wary of great depths that appear with no warning.
