Harpers Brook carries the main flow of the River Nene around the nearby lock. It narrows and tumbles through small glades and before opening out into the main passage of the River Nene. It can be easily accessed from the Thorpe Road Bridge and the swim from its outflow to Wadenhoe is also truly beautiful with great views of the Church above the river.
