In Wakefield, behind the Swan & Cygnet pub. There is a large lake, it is signposted ‘No Swimming’ and ‘Deep Water’, but there are quite a few who do swim in there. I wear a wetsuit but a lot don’t. It is about 500m across. It is very deep but clean and clear with no current noticed.
