Beautiful swimming spot. No road access so even in summer not too busy, u can always find a quiet spot if you wanna go commando and are shy about it. Situated right on the tops so a huge sky above you adds to the appeal. Not mega deep so after a few days of sunshine in the summer the temperature is very comfortable. I absolutely LOVE Gaddings.

Absolutely awesome place to have a wild swim. When it comes to kit, make sure you take warm clothing with you and a light, thin rain proof jacket. One that you could put on when you get out of the water and keep your wet-suit on so as to negate wind-chill and not got cold out of the water. Gaddings is high-up and the elements can find you from all directions.

- Oh, I miss that place, spent many a summer evening sunset swimming after a vigourous climb up from the pub carpark.2 laps of the triangle was the usual distance. Happy days indeed.
