Outney Common

  • wild swimming

A 3km stretch of the Waveney meandering around open common land. Good water quality, up to 2m deep in parts, popular for canoeing. Many bays and swimming possibilities.

  7. We swam here whilst staying at the otney meadow caravan park (on the river near the main road) they had a rope to swing into the water. Water depth varied from 2m to shallow. At the time (July 2013) the water was loverly. You can also hire canoes. Wold recommend
