Pretty bay with gently shelving sandy bottom, bounded to west by the harbour and east by a low rocky promentary. Easy access and parking, good for a dip or a family visit. Snorkelling around the rocks too. Best when the tide is high. Can get rough when wind is in the NE.

I swim here late summer sometimes. The beach has a rocky skerry across the mouth of the bay, which helps to keep the water calm and (possibly!) a little warmer. Best on a rising tide which gives you a good swim across the bay over a clean sandy bottom.
