A wide Waterfall or Gorge, about 3m high, with pleasant plunge pool and open aspect. Limestone cliffs in valley and grassy banks for picnics. Interesting river and rock shapes downstream and good paddling.

Remember coming here as a kid and jumping in from the top ledges, fearless then, wouldn’t catch me doing it now!
This is truly the king of all wild swims. Firstly it is very easy to get to. Then there is a little grassy bank perfect for changing and picnicing . But the best part is that it wasn’t at all cold – I think because it was after a couple of very hot days and the water upstream runs very shallow over flat rocks exposed to the sun to heat it up. We spent all day there. There are little ledges under the waterfall where you can sit and let the force of the water give you a natural massage. Sublime!
