Two Waterfall or Gorge and plunge pools (shallow, 1m) plus bridges set in the small but wild valley at the headwaters of the river Dane. Famous for counterfeit money and skulduggery. High moor, good views.

-Bit of a trek to get there – you can’t park nearby so you have to hike down the valley to it, but it’s a great spot.
-yes
-yum
-freezing cold water
-Two streams of icy clean, coppery moorland water meet at a bridge and tumble into a deep plunge pool. You can leap off a ledge if you dare. Further down stream is another pool, equally deep, equally stony cold.
It can get a little busy on the few hot days summer days we have. Try it in spring. Try it in autumn, the water is no colder then.-Place Your Review
