I took the family it was great you can jump off elephant rock like the previous post said rent a kayak or canoo and paddle over it isnt far and jump lol
Definitely a good spot and at this time of year not too cold, according to my GPS its about 1/2 a km across, and yes you can jump off elephant rock, depending on nesting birds, but be careful.
If you planing to dive or jump into any water always take some goggles and have and have a good look under the water before you jump off any thing, you never know if a log has floated in, or a tree fallen from the bank, even if it was OK last time it might have changed.
there are some vid’s of people jumping off the rock on You tube, which are worth a look..
According to the guy in Cotswolds who told us about this spot, you can swim to elephants rock and jump off it. as I havent been over there i cant recommend it but if anyone fancies having a swim to see, please comment and let us know if it is deep and safe enough.

Been here great place. Yes you can swim to whats referred to as Elephants rock and its deep enough to dive off. There’s a camp site here too and they also hire kayaks at a reasonable price. And you can walk from the site to Snowdonia. Enjoy
Swam here with my family about 11am and it was amazing. Hands went numb but it was well worth it!
