Lovely swim here last week 🙂 glorious sunshine all day. Arrived at 5pm after a steep climb from Rydal Hall Campsite following the waterfalls. Takes about 40 mins to get there but well worth it. Am amazing swim spot.

Took a little trip to this place this week with my son.

Fantastic spot, great for a family trip. Shallower sections that younger ones can wade through, as well as good deep sections for jumping into from the side. If you don’t mind risking bumps and grazes, you can even slide down the waterfall at the end. The rocks have been worn smooth by the water but the descent is quite fast. My son and I did it in shorts and I got a couple of slight grazes (he was fine); others have done it in wetsuits and emerged unscathed.

Lovely spot if quiet. Some blogs raising issues of left litter. No problem when we went so thanks to those who cleared up.
