DIP workshops – Carding Mill Valley

Dip Shropshire is an exciting new Arts Council England funded project that aims to encourage people to enjoy wild swimming and the natural beauty of Shropshire and link their experiences to a range of creative workshops, including photography, animation, filmmaking, creative writing and poetry.

Our first event is in collaboration with Wenlock Poetry Festival and will feature a poetry workshop with Andrew Fusek Peters, and an Environmental Art Trail with Kate Johnston.

11am – Arrive and enjoy a wild swim in Carding Mill Valley Reservoir
12pm – Enjoy a free delicious locally produced lunch from Grow Cook Learn
1pm – 4pm Workshops (Andrew Fusek Peters and Kate Johnston)
4pm – Watch Dip the film in our Dip Shropshire mobile cinema
4.30pm – Enjoy a reading from ‘Dip Wild Swims in The Bordelands’ from Andrew Fusek Peters

5pm Finish.
