A lovely family spot, the wide river is shallow and paddle friendly at the sides, under the bridge is deep and clear enough to enjoy cannonballs from the hand rail of the bridge.
An excellent swim, deep and clear in the middle, the weir is interesting to sit in and be massaged.
Not totally wild – quite busy on a sunny day, but very fun none the less.
