St Michaels Mount Swim

  • BouncyMount

The Chestnut Appeal’s annual, one and a half mile swim around the spectacular St Michaels Mount will take place on Saturday 5th August 2017.

St Michaels Mount is a small tidal island in the sheltered Mounts Bay linked to the town of Marazion by a man-made causeway of granite setts, passable between mid-tide and low water. So we will be swimming on the High Tide at around 4pm.

Safety is always a top priority and as with all the Chestnut Appeal swims the event will be supported by the team from Event Water Safety who will provide all the necessary craft and expert cover for the swim.

Registration for the swim is £35 which covers the cost of organising the event. And it is asked that a minimum of £50 is raised for the Chestnut Appeal. Your fundraising will help the Chestnut Appeal continue their work across the region.

The Chestnut Appeal for Prostate Cancer is a charity that supports men with prostate cancer and their families across Devon and Cornwall.

Entry to the St Michaels Swim includes; full water safety support from Event Water Safety, an event swim cap, water and an end of swim snack.
