River Great Ouse

You can park on the road next to the pub, the green next to the river is popular and you can enter the water there are go upstream, or a small distance downstream to the lock and weir. Opposite the green is a meadow, often used by people on motor boats to moor up for families having picnic. If you prefer a quieter spot, walk to the green, follow the path to the left to the bridge above the weir and lock, you can now go onto the meadow from here or turn left to the jetty/landing stage. As you are now below the weir, most people cant see you and its a beautiful quite spot. This can be reedy, and be careful of the lock.
