South and East coast - secret beaches, coves
and plunge pools Dorset
is dominated by the remote fossil-filled bays of the Jurassic coastline
and the grand sandstone arches, caves and rock pools of Lulworth and
the Purbecks. Heading east, the lagoons and chalk cliffs of Sussex, the
desolate shingle spits of Kent and Suffolk and finally the sweeping
sandy coastline of north Norfolk combine to offer a rich and diverse
array of wild-swimming gems, all of them well away from busy resorts
and coastal development.
